Wendy Anderson is a life long resident of CT and she and her husband make their home in Oxford. They have two grown children.

Educated at Paier College of Art and Lasell College, she has employed her painting and illustrative skills along with her training in Graphic Design and Production as a freelance artist for over 20 years. She has worked for many of those years as a muralist under the name of ‘Great Walls Murals’ and her murals can be seen in schools and municipal buildings in and around CT. Mural clients have included the Boy Scouts of America, Lake Compounce Amusement Park, Better Bedding Corp., Tauck World Discovery, and many school districts including The City of New Haven, and the Cheshire, Avon, Granby, and Oxford Public Schools. Wendy has enjoyed creating faux finishes and trompe l’oeil artwork for a number of residential clients as well.

Wendy has also had a 14 year relationship with Woodbury Pewter as an Associate Artist designing artwork for pewter ornaments and other pewter items. She has had the privilege of designing the yearly ornament for the Redding Neighbors & Newcomers for a number of years.

In addition to mural artwork, Wendy offers a variety of artistic services including full color and black & white illustration for Children’s Publications, traditional and computer art for all kinds of advertising such as print ads, brochures, stationery, and spot illustrations. Portraits, animal artwork and architectural renderings are a specialty. Portfolio samples available upon request.
