Jennifer Carello, Redding resident for 2 years is beginning her first term as President of the Redding Neighbors & Newcomers social club. The club kicked off the new term with a turnover meeting this month where old board members and new gathered to discuss the upcoming year. The club continues to provide the chance for longtime residents as well as new residents to socialize and meet every month at different events. “I am so excited about our new board this year. We have a nice mix of new and former board members and we are all really energized to reach out to the community. This is going to be a great year to be a member of our club or a board member!” Jennifer Carello said.
Redding Neighbors & Newcomers hosts social events all year long at a variety of local restaurants and members’ homes and provides something for everyone. Some of the interest groups are Family Game Night, Playgroups for toddlers from birth to five years old, Guys Poker Night, Cooking Club, Bunco, Critics Club and much more. Redding Neighbors & Newcomers is a social organization open to all Redding residents both new and old. Our members consist of residents who just moved in and some who have been here for almost 20 years. Yearly dues are $35 per household and include monthly newsletter and membership directory.
