Last Saturday, Redding Neighbors & Newcomers held its
12th annual Lobster Clambake at Topstone Park.
The club's biggest adult event of the year, which is
open to all Reddingites, was a great success thanks to
the efforts of Meredith Miller and Barbara Murphy, vp
of special events co-chairs. The traditional New
England lobster clambake was catered by Swanson's Fish
Market with desserts provided by Whistle Stop Bakery
in West Redding. In addition to this the guests
enjoyed music played by Music in Motion of New York.
Redding Neighbors & Newcomers is a social organization
open to all Reddingites, both new and established.
Annual membership fees is $35 per family, and includes
a mnthly newsletter oulining events and activities,
and a yearly member directory. For more information,
contact Lisa Pompeo, vp of membership, at 938-7997.
