The Mark Twain Library is featured this year on the
pewter ornament created annually by the Redding
Neighbors & Newcomers club. The keepsake ornament
shows the library's entrance with its curved windows
and grand entrance and is a must-have for this holiday
season.
This is the club's 14th ornament honoring Redding.
Graphic designer Wendy Andersen creates the design and
then Woodbury Perter Company turns her artwork into an ornament.
The club has highlighted many of Redding's major
events, familiar landmarks and renowned personalities.
Designs have included: Redding Established 1714
(1992); Two Deer (1993); The Town Gazebo (1994);
Congregational Church (1995); Israel Putnam (1996);
Mark Twain (1997); Purchase 1st Land in Redding by
John Read (1998); Joel Barlow 1754-1812 (1999);
Umpawaug School (2000); Christ Church Episcopal
(2001); Sacred Heart Church (2002); St. Patrick Church
