Redding Neighbors & Newcomers (RN&N) is a local social group comprised of not only new but also long-standing residents of the Redding, Connecticut community.
Nestled in the hills of Northern Fairfield County, Redding, Connecticut is frequently mentioned as one of the state’s best small towns. While Redding’s reputation as a great place to live is certainly due in part to one of the best school districts in Connecticut, scenic nature preserves such as Topstone and Huntington Parks, links to famous Connecticut residents such as Mark Twain, colorful gathering places such as the Georgetown Saloon and the Redding Roadhouse and the character of rural Connecticut still glimpsed on its scenic byways and at places like New Pond Farm, we at Redding Neighbors & Newcomers like to think that our fun, unique social events for adults, families and kids also contribute to Redding’s appeal. With a variety of events from the Annual Lobster/Clambake to the Children’s Concert and interest groups such as Bunco and Mom and Tots Playgroups, RN&N provides its members with the opportunity to experience the best that Redding has to offer. Whether you’re new to our town or just looking for new and exciting activities, we encourage you join us!
“How beautiful it all is. I did not think it could be as beautiful as this.” Mark Twain (on his arrival in Redding on June 18, 1908)
