Boozy Brownies

Ingredients:

1 box family size fudge brownie mix
¾ cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
1/3 cup liquor**
4 Tb softened butter
2 cups sifted confectioner’s sugar
3 Tb liquor**
6 oz chocolate chips
1 Tb butter |

| Directions: |
- 1. Prepare brownies according to package directions in 9” square pan, adding ¾ cup nuts. Bake and cool.
2. Pierce brownies with toothpick about every ½ inch. Drizzle 1/3 cup liquor over top.
3. Cream together 4 Tb softened butter, confectioner’s sugar and 3 Tb liquor. Spread over top and refrigerate until topping is firm.
4. Melt 6 oz chocolate chips and 1 Tb butter in double boiler or microwave. Cool slightly and spread over top.
5. Score top before totally cooled to make cutting easier.
6. Cut into smaller than usual pieces, as these are very rich
