Never did I think that Heirloom Recipes would bring together some many flavorful dishes from families of different origin, all over the world!  Since my recipe was from Todd's grandmother in Maine, I never imagined the others would travel so far to come together for our little club right here in Redding.  Dishes included Keskasoon (Syrian Pasta), Russian Beef Stroganoff, Sicilian Lasagna, Boeuf bourguignon, Kasha Varnishkes, Baked Ham with Champagne sauce and many more!  It was a great night to share our treasured memories and recipes and learn a little more about one another.

Thanks also to Amy, Kathy and Jenny for orchestrating such a great event and joining forces with me to run the club.  The recipes are uploaded under Recipe Exchange. So peruse, print, cook and enjoy! 

We have so many great events scheduled for this year and I hope to see you at some if not all.  Remember this club is about food and friendship. So, come eat, relax, meet new friends and catch up with the old crowd as we begin another terrific year. As always, thanks for your interest and support in the Cooking Club.
