Progressive Dinner - A Grand Success!!

The Redding Neighbors and Newcomers Club is back onto a healthy start! Our first October party event, the Progressive Dinner on October 4, 2008 was a grand success! What a gathering right here in Redding! As one of the party-goers put it, "it felt like a party atmosphere in the midst of an enchanted forest!!" The 'progressive' portion of the dinner made it feel like it was Halloween for the adults -- dressed for a party and dressed with cheer, the group started with appetizers at the home of the Canes, followed by dinner at the Carellos' and desserts at the LeBlancs'. As another party-goer put it, "why wait until Christmas time to party?" The best part of such parties held right here in Redding is, we don't need to drive far to get back home; you get to meet fellow Reddingites; and unlike company parties, you don't have to deal with office politics, or pretend to be having fun!! No wonder then that the folks who've been to a party once, always keep coming back! The club thanks the folks that opened up their homes for the event!
