Playgroups

Redding Neighbors & Newcomers offers playgroups for all younger ages. Playgroups may meet at participants homes, a local park, the library, and any other kid friendly place. There is no need to let your living situation hinder your decision to join. They are organized by birth year of your child.

Siblings are welcome.

Calling All Little Ones Born in 2009-10

Hello Mommies! Please join us for a bi-weekly playgroup. This is a good opportunity for the kids to spend some time with children their own age. Who knows, they may even find a lifelong friend in the bunch and they’ll be able to say “Ive known her/him since I was a baby.” More importantly, it’s a chance for mommies to meet others in the same delightful predicament.

I really hope you can all find a couple of hours in your week so our kids can meet up, we can swap toy and book ideas and we can just have time with other grown-ups (or go-nips as my son says). I know scheduling can be a nightmare with older siblings and nap schedules, but even if you can make it once a month, I think it will be well worth it. Playgroup meets the second and fourth Wednesday each month from 12:30 – 2:30.

Please note that the playgroups are open to all members and cannot be closed as long as the group continues under auspices of Redding & Neighbors and Newcomers.
