Since 1950 the Geogetown LIONS club has served the community in Redding, Weston, Wilton and Lower Ridgefield. The club actively engages the community through its fundraisers such as the Carnival, Turkey Shoot and Georgetown Day. The Georgetown LIONS serve the community through the management of the Gilbert and Bennett Ball Field, and the adoption of the corner of US Route 7 and CT Route 107. Other projects of the Georgetown LIONS club include eyeglass drop off boxes. The club meets alternately at the Redding Road House Restaurant in Redding and the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. New members are welcome!
