Once again, Redding, has been named the number one small town in Connecticut (population 6,500-10,000) in the March issue of Connecticut Magazine. Much of our popularity is due to the careful planning that has preserved the distinctive character of Redding. Just by taking a leisurely drive through town, you’ll see how charming and beautiful it is. With our hilly topography, winding roads, eclectic mélange of Colonial and Victorian style homes, stone walls, and thousand of acres of open space, Redding looks much like many small towns in more rural parts of New England. Our town has become a haven for those looking for a kinder, gentler small town environment that is still convenient to New York City and larger adjacent towns.
With that said, Redding Neighbors & Newcomers (RN&N) is just one of the many things that contribute to Redding’s beauty and popularity. Our club compliments the feel of Redding by offering great activities and events for both the young and old, new or established residents. We strive to introduce new and old Reddingites to the social, cultural, and civic aspects of the Town of Redding. Although, RN&N is primarily a social club, we do become involved with some civic activities by volunteering time and donating money and items received from fund-raising events in town.
We welcome you to join us in all the club has to offer. Get out and meet the wonderful people that make up the number one small town in Connecticut.
